Cosima De Vito with Christian Bowman

On new years eve I had the privilege of working Cosima De Vito again filming one of her performances. Cosima also shared some of her time after her performance to do an exclusive one-on-one interview with me.

This is the first clip of a series of six. In this clip, Cosima reveals her thoughts about her experience when she withdraw from the 1st Australian Idol due to developing throat nodules.     Does Cosima remember coming into the Hamilton Senior High School Media room and saying she would never ever be a singer (because her self-confidence would go low.) Carolyn, myself, along with every-one else in the room would tell her she was fabulous and some-times she would sing for us.
    Does she also remember singing those sweet Italian folk songs at special staff functions.
    I know Cosima is a great popular music singer but I do HOPE that she still sings those beautiful Italian songs in that sweet young soaring voice that put a tear in most teacher’s eyes.
    My name is Glynis Davies. I was the Media teacher at Hamilton Senior High school. One of my top ever students was Carolyn Cutri - Cosmia’s friend. I died due to hospital negligence in May 2001. After that I had to resign from my adored job of teaching due to ill health and now live on a disability pension. I miss teaching such gifted students.
