Ferrari have been under fire over their F1 car branding as being subliminal to the tobacco brand Marlboro. In 2005 tabacco sponsorship of F1 was outlawed but it appears that these recent claims aren’t as “rediculous” Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo comments.

Check out the photo above to make up your own mind as to whether or not they are playing silly buggers with their branding.

To me, its a bit convenient and it’s definitely worth investigating. Visual branding is definitely reliant on proportion, colour and composition and Ferrari “barcode” satisfies all of these criteria.

Public launch of the NRA Australian Fashion Design Festival presented by Pacific Fair Shopping Centre

Eva Milic hosted the public launch together with NRA Australian Fashion Design Award judges Michael Pherous (Chair), Trelise Cooper and Jonathan Ward, to introduce the Festival to the shopping public.

The inaugural and limited-edition Variety Chari-Tees, designed by some of Australia and New Zealand’s leading fashion designers, will be paraded on the catwalk along with a short parade of Pacific Fair’s chic winter collections.

A couple of months ago, I was approached by the agency who is doing the EKKA campaigns to purchase some fashion photography from a parade I did.

Today I saw the photo at a bus shelter on Gregory Terrace in Spring Hill, then again on College Rd on some street banners heading towards Hale St.

Here is the photo that they chose, it wasn’t one of my best photos, but it did look good with some graphics around it.

Anyways, I was definitely curious as to how it would be used and I think it looks great what Axis Campaigns have done with it.

Here are some photos I took of Brisbane model Jess Ellis in my photo studio and at some locations around Brisbane city, including on Bowen Terrace at New Farm in front of the Storey Bridge, and behind Stamford Plaza along the Brisbane River.

This was my first shoot with my Canon 5D and my new favourite lens the Canon 85mm 1.8 USM lens. This combination is fantastic for portrait photos and it has provided me with the sharpest photos i’ve taken yet.

Anyways, I’d love to hear some opinions and comments about this shoot.
