“Peternity” leave for UK employees

Here is a report about UK companies introducing “Peternity” leave for employees to request time off to take care of sick pets at home. I found this interesting, and I know from working at home, knowing that my pet is ok means I can concentrate on work with less distraction.

  • Yeah, how mean is my work that they wouldn’t let me take special needs leave to take Napoleon to the vet. Don’t they have any scruples? mmmm scruples.
