Official “Bio”

Christian Bowman (born June 27, 1980) is a young entrepreneur based in Brisbane, Australia. Christian has over 10 years experience in the design and media industry, has completed a degree in Design Studies and has done graduate studies in Management. Bowman is skilled in the areas of Design, Video, Photography & Marketing.

Christian Bowman is the Web Marketing Manager for Achaeus in Brisbane. Christian is also the owner/proprietor of Bowman Digital, a Visual Communication and Production business in Brisbane. Previously, he was a founding partner of Renderpro, a Video Production studio in Brisbane and was also sole trading under the name Christian Bowman Productions, which was a Graphic Design business.

Bowman has done online communication work for various companies in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Most notable is his work with the RSPCA Qld, including designing and managing their public homepage during 2001-2004. Christian’s most recent work for RSPCA included doing the design and e-marketing for the RSPCA World for Pets Online Store.

Some visual communication work has been done for Cellnet Group, JMF Investment & Technology, JetPilot, Bang Australia, QuickNet & Ray White. MacGregor State High School, Brisbane Transport, Ray White & Anne McKevitt Ideas are some clients whom required services in video Production.

Skilled in software tutoring and training, Christian Bowman has worked with Brisbane Learning Centre, working in both one-on-one and class group environments.

Also a professional photographer, Christian Bowman has done work in his dedicated studio and on-site corporate, fashion and wedding photography.

Christian has also donated some of his time to the worthy endeavours of the Breast Cancer Associaton of Queensland, Project Dare and also the RSPCA.

The Young Entrepreneur

Originally starting work in 1995, I was a freelance worker in multiple disciplines for various local agencies and small business. As a young professional at the age of 15, I was a Video Camera Operator, Visual Artist and Computer Technician.

Towards the end of my high schooling I won the prestigious Education Queensland, “Minister’s Award for Excellence in Art” in 1997 for an untitled digital print. In 1998 I was a Caltex “All-Rounder” award winner and the senior academic award winner for Graphics at Trinity College, Beenleigh.

My recognised interest in Creative Arts encouraged me to continue in this line of work. I then started Design studies at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and then completed my degree at the Queensland College of Art (QCA) in Brisbane. This enabled me to become highly developed in Visual Communication & Design. I then started graduate studies part-time in Entrepreneurship and Venture Development at the Griffith School of Business.

In 1999, I did photographic work for Photo Labs Pty Ltd, APnet Pty Ltd and my parent’s business, Bowman Photography Pty Ltd.

In 2001 I registered Christian Bowman Productions as my design business and then in 2003 entered into a partnership in a video production business called Renderpro with my good friend Daniel.
