Oscar, this resident cat in Providence in Rhode Island USA, has been reported to have the ability to predict when a patient is about to pass away. Oscar has been accurate for about 25 passing away by snuggling up next to them within a couple of hours of them passing. So accurate that the nursing staff will call the family of the client to let them know that death is imminent.

I wonder if after the first couple of instances, when people see him snuggle up next to them that they just assume they are due to die and just switch off… or maybe he can sense changes in the body either by smell, heat or by some metaphysical way.. eg.. via sms.. i kid i kid, but yeah, is this the meanest cat ever, or is he just there to snuggle up and to make sure they don’t die alone.

I got a call during the week from an editor of The Daily Mercury, a newspaper in Mackay to use one of my photos for an article on a fashion design student from QUT. They requested three photos for consideration from a shoot I did at the QUT Fashion Graduate parade in 2006.

Read this vague report about a transformer exploding in New York, why do they persist in trying to keep transformers secret? It was so obvious that they “photoshopped” the transformer out of the picture and replaced it with smoke…
I mean, the movie is out, everyone knows they are here on earth.

Hopefully it isn’t Bumble Bee, because he’s my favourite. But as my good friend lauz pointed out, sif Bumble Bee would explode over a puff of steam? unless that steam had fluoride in it– and we all know how dangerous that is to transformers! Or do we?

I wonder if the other Decepticon transformers were the cause of this?

Hopefully some specifics will be released soon.

EDIT: subsequent to this post, the article CNN has removed any reference to transformers (electrical) and change the title from “transformer explosion”… to something boring…
