Super pursuit mode – Knight Rider

One of my favourite TV show as a kid growing up in the 80′s was Knight Rider. I was trying to figure out an episode i remember when the car would have bits stick out to make it go faster. After reading up on it on wikipedia, I found the feature in question- Super Pursuit Mode. Anyways, this was a modification made to KITT for the fourth season. This increased the car’s stability and most importantly speed. It can now go 40% faster than it’s original top speed of 300 MPH… I’m speaking to the toyota dealership now to see if they can install SPM 2.0 into my 98 Camry, which should increase the top speed from 90 to 100 km/h.

Children and Family Portrait Photography in Brisbane

Here are couple of photos that I took a couple of weeks ago. It can be hard working with kids, especially in front of the camera. Having worked with kids with santa photography, in the busiest of retail environments at Christmas, I’ve become accustomed to the unpredictability of their behaviour. Anyways, let me know what you think of these, I’d love any feedback about them.

Bad Hair Day – Bride cuts off hair moments before the wedding

I found this video on YouTube yesterday, and as a wedding service provider, I couldn’t help but feel for this poor bride. I’ve filmed and photographed at several weddings where the Bride and Bride’s maids for that matter have been most unhappy with their hair. Unlike a mark on the dress, illness, bad weather, wearing hair that you are totally unhappy with on your wedding day would be quite catastrophic. Months and sometimes years of preparation and anticipation for the big day can lead to an overwhelming flow of emotion that is totally uncontrollable.

I’ve helped Bride’s and Bride’s mothers deal with the uncontrollable effects of a bad service provider, weather, and the unfortunate events like getting the dress dirty, broken or even having parts missing. The only thing I can do as a service provider is to help the Bride understand that in the grand scheme of marrying the one they love, all of those elements become insignificant. In fact, talking with clients after years of being married, they love watching their wedding video on their wedding anniversary to see how unique their wedding became after an “incident”. It makes their day unique, and makes their relationship with each other just that extra bit special.

If your wedding runs perfectly and without flaw, thats great. However if something does happen which doesnt’ go to plan, it’s great also! Getting married is a big step, not because of prcoesses of the wedding day, but because your have found someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. Sometimes the most catastrophic things becomes the source of great memory as the overwhelming emotion associated with that incident will only ADD to the collection of wonderful memories together.
