I heard on the AFL today during the St Kilda v Fremantle game an interesting collective noun.

A Lodge of Beaver.. haha! ok i do have an imagination, but i would love to see a lodge of beaver, some in trees, some by spa, near the bar drinking hot mochas wearing pattern knit skivvys.

Anyways it did make me wonder about the collective noun for bloggers.. I found this post for some suggestions.

I then also found this list of collective nouns for animals! haha i love it. I’ve heard of a murder of crows before and used it as conversation stirers but i love hearing new ones. If you have any that arn’t on this list please comment! hehe a business of ferrets.. they are so organised aren’t they!

Some of my favourite collective nouns:

Crash of Rhinos
Murder of Crows
Gaggle of Geese
Sum of Mathmeticians
Usleless of Channel 10 Digital TV guides
Bowman of Whoppers
Handbag of Umpires
Packet of Wombats .. ok now i’m being silly..

I actually got this report from my RSS feed from MSNBC, but I had to suss it all out at IGN. Looks like Nintendo have announed the new name for their next generation gaming console from the widely accepted codename “Revolution” to “Wii” … yes Wii as in “We”.

I personally think its crap, I’m sure the marketing and ad agency will come up with some cool concepts with the two “ii’s” where they look like people connected etc. Seriously though, “Wii”.. “Mum i’m busy playing with my “Wii”.. “Hey stavros, want to come over and play with my wii”? Imagine the parents at Christmas time, kids everywhere wanting a Nintendo Wii for Christmas. Worst name ever!

Anyways, I found this old trailer which has obvious hints towards the new name.

Need more space to air dry your glasses? Then here’s a handy life tip:

Use one of your oven racks as an extra drying rack for your glasses. Because the racks are typically uneven, rest the lower side on the side of your sink ledge. Whilst it won’t be perfectly flat, it will be flat enough to accommodate glasses.

I am bored – I am waiting for a video render.

Pantone Solid to Process Guide PDF

I found this guide going through some emails that i had sent to myself. Yes i send myself emails.

Anyways, I’ve been scouring the web to find a custom pantone solid to process guide to use with my laser printer. If I need to do short run print jobs on my printer, I can now colour match to what my printer will spit out. If you don’t want to fork out for a proper pantone guide
